Abstract

The use of technology in university education is increasing, as are changes in the teaching methodologies. This work examines the case of the Faculty of Education at the University of Seville, which provides all the qualifications, focusing on trends between 2004-2005 and 2006-2007 courses, and analyzes the relationship between use of different teaching methodologies (lectures, individual work, group work and role…) and the use of technological resources (slides, video, networking, web pages…). It has been found that certain styles methodological involve the use of some specific teaching methodologies. It has also been concluded that the use of technological resources in higher education in this way is still quite limited, although there is a progressive increase.
