Abstract

In this study we analyse the effects that a creativity stimulation and improvement programme based on relaxation and imagination has on the verbal creativity levels (fluency, flexibility and originality) Clemente Franco Justo, Eduardo Justo Martínez y Javier Fernández Sanjuán 56 • Bordón 61 (3), 2009, 47-57 of a group of boys and girls in their last year of Nursery Education. For this purpose, we formed an experimental group that took part in this programme, and a control group that was not involved in this project. The levels of verbal creativity of both groups were assessed using the Torrance Verbal Creativity Battery Test. The statistical analyses carried at the end of this intervention programme show significant differences between experimental and control groups in the variables studied, with the experimental group attaining higher average scores than the control group in terms of fluency, flexibility and verbal originality.
