Abstract

INTRODUCTION. In recent years there has been a considerable progress in the conceptualization of feedback from cybernetic models to models located in the frame work of connectivism, which consider that the provision and interpretation of feedback is a responsibility of the student. Based on the competency learning approach that structures the EHEA curriculum design and current training arrangements (many of them blended learning), the study of feedback is relevant because it is clearly connected with the competence of autonomy and initiative and at the end, with the processesof self-regulation of learning, which become the key to the development of skills throughout life. METHOD. The article has used documentary analysis as a basis for research. The text is based on a deep analysis of the feedback international studies conducted in recent years. RESULTS. Last years ‘reviews of research on feedback (in the process of evaluation of learning in higher education)are systematized, removing some mythical ideas about it and showing current trends in providing the same. DISCUSSION. The analysis allows us to find the existing coincidences among several researches to out line some strategies for implementation in the Spanish university.
