LITERATURA, VIRTUDES Y EDUCACIÓN MORAL
Main Article Content
Abstract
Moral education embraces the education of different dimensions of human beings, like emotions, reason and will. Key elements of moral education are: providing information in order to know what is good; and showing living examples of how a fulfilled human existence looks like in the real world. The reading of certain narratives may be useful in order to help human beings to know what is good, and how to act according to what they know is the right thing to do. But, although necessary, these elements are not enough, because moral action requires also the development —through practice— of good habits that we call virtues.
