Abstract

In this article, we reflect from an organisational perspective on the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into schools. The article is part of a broader research project, aiming to analyse the introduction of ICT into primary and secondary schools in the Spanish Autonomous Community of Galicia. We study the influence on the professional development of teachers, as well as the organisational changes that are created. Specifically, this article focuses on one of the three case studies carried out during the qualitative phase of our research. The case study is the result of the analysis of participant observations at a primary school in Galicia, formal and informal interviews (some in depth) and the examination of a variety of institutional documents, diaries and field notes. This article focuses on the organisational development dimension.
