Abstract

With this article we present XIV National and III Ibero-American Congress of Pedagogy, whose general theme is «Education, Citizenship and Coexistence. Diversity and Social Meaning of Education ». The author, President of the Spanish Society of Pedagogy, organizer of the Congress, set up the general framework, by treating aspects such as entity of the theme and some of the wide fields to be considered. Specifically, he considers the content of integral education, difficulties and risks that must be treated within its framework when we face education for citizenship and coexistence.
