SENTIDOS Y CREENCIAS RELIGIOSAS DE LOS JÓVENES ESPAÑOLES

Abstract

«Feelings and religious beliefs of the Spanish young people» are based on the data of several investigations on the current situation of Spanish youth. On the first part, it studies mentalities and attitudes of young people in connection with meanings and significance of life that institutions and social agents transmit. In the second part, related with the previous one, it refers to the youthful religious beliefs contained in the Message that the Catholic Church offers the present society, without forgetting the low adoption of the Message due to its problems of adjustment to demands of young people and the crisis of structures of plausibility. The article exposes the general picture of young people’s, and deepens in the two main ones: The belief in God, extending in the «God next to men», and the belief in Jesus Christ, Son of God and exceptional Man Who has marked the history of the world.
