Abstract
Music education is a general field of education and a general education. It is also a field of pedagogical intervention that must be framed from the general formation of the individual and not only like field of specialization or professionalisation. It is important to maintain this distinction, not only because it exists legally, but because its defence and founding contribute to the building criteria in the professionals
