Futebol e creatina, uma revisão sistemática

O futebol é um esporte coletivo, um dos esportes mais populares em todo o mundo. Portanto, o fornecimento de estratégias nutricionais é necessário para o desempenho ideal do atleta. O objetivo desta revisão sistemática é analisar e descrever através da literatura científica os efeitos do consumo de creatina em jogadores de futebol. Através das bases de dados Scopus, WoS, Pubmed e SciELO foram identificados um total de 6 artigos científicos, os quais foram encontrados através da utilização das palavras-chave “Soccer” OR “Football”, AND “Creatine” AND “physical Condition” OR “desempenho. " Foram encontrados resultados relacionados a “Dose de creatina e período de intervenção”, “Efeitos nas vias aéreas e volume respiratório”, “Altura do salto”, “Resistência aeróbica”, “Potência anaeróbica”, “Habilidade esportiva” e “Velocidade e mudanças de direção.” Por fim, a eficácia do consumo de creatina está orientada para a presença de uma fase de manutenção ou de uma fase de carga somada a uma fase de manutenção, permitindo melhorias no trato respiratório, potência muscular, velocidade e desempenho físico nos jogadores de futebol.
