PROGRAMA PARA LA MEJORA DE LA COMPRENSIÓN DE TEXTOS EN EL PRIMER CICLO DE ESO A TRAVÉS DEL DESARROLLO DEL CONOCIMIENTO DE LA IDEA PRINCIPAL Y LA ESTRUCTURA TEXTUAL

Abstract

This report describes the research on the construction and use of a program of improving text comprehension, in order to developing understanding of main ideas and text structure. The sample consisted of 211 Firts Cycle Compulsory Secondary School (E.S.O.) students. The used quasiexperimental design considers two groups, within pre-test and pos-test application. The results indicates the usefulness of program, because the experimental students´ group reached a significant improvement on text comprehension, just in the considered variables.
