WORKING VALUES: A STUDY WITH UNIVERSITY STUDENTS OF PRIMARY TEACHING AND PSYCOPEDAGOGY

Abstract
The work values, reasons for which it works or the labour expectations, are the objective of this descriptive study, made with 374 college students of Magisterio and Psychopedagogy. From the theoretical exposition of Schwartz, one is that the students mainly incline by dominions of universalism and benevolence, and less by those of profit and authority. Significant differences of sex exist, and the women approach more the first dominions that the men. And also are differences between the specialties, mainly between the one of special education and physical education. Also, it is emphasized that (self) knowledge of values promotes the development for the race in the construction of its competitions of knowledge to be and to know how to be.
