Parents’ opinion regarding the participation of their sons and daughters in domestic chores. Implicit models of family education

Abstract
This work presents the results of an investigation which has been developed to analyse and to diagnose the families’ co-responsibility in the Principality of Asturias. We show the analysis and conclusions of the implicit model that parents and mothers implement in the education of the shared family responsibility. The information used for the analysis has been extracted from a set of semi structured interviews and groups of discussions with fathers and mothers. In the analysis it can be observed that the old traditional model has been substituted by a more individualistic one. Nevertheless, we must say that this new model also presents some problems and conflicts.
