ANTROPOLOGÍA DE LO RELIGIOSO

Abstract

In the Introduction of this article, the author analyses the meaning of the term «religion». The first section studies the work of three authors —Marx, Nietzsche and Freud— who were suspicious about the objective value of the religious phenomenon. The following section faces the reasonableness —or not— of the religious fact, when it is considered from the perspectives adopted by Hume, Hegel and Wittgenstein; to continue with the consideration of religion as a way of human self understanding, as it is seen by Max Weber, Mircea Eliade and Rene Girard. The concluding remarks are devoted to the analysis of the relationship between man an God.
