Efeitos do treino de slackline na resistência central e equilíbrio dinâmico

Resumo

O slackline desafia o equilíbrio ao caminhar em uma esteira ergométrica, onde os músculos do tronco ajudam a manter ou recuperar o equilíbrio. O objetivo deste estudo foi comparar indivíduos que praticavam slackline e indivíduos fisicamente inativos (FI) na resistência central (CR) e equilíbrio dinâmico (DE), e saber se o CR está associado a anos de prática de slackline. Nove indivíduos (7 homens) que praticavam slacklining regularmente (GS; idade = 24,5 ± 3,6 anos) e nove indivíduos IF (7 homens) (GC; idade = 23,2 ± 3,3 anos) foram comparados. O CR foi avaliado com a bateria de McGill (teste dos flexores e extensores de tronco e ponte lateral) e o teste da prancha. A DE foi medida com o teste de excursão estelar modificado em condições estáveis ​​e instáveis. O GS manteve 36,2% e 45% mais tempo na ponte lateral esquerda (p = 0,049) e na prancha (p = 0,031), respectivamente, em comparação ao GC. A distância alcançada no teste DE estável foi semelhante entre os grupos, mas na condição instável foi 37,8% maior (p = 0,016) no GS em ambas as pernas e 46,6% maior na perna não dominante (p = 0,039) em comparação para GC. O GS mostrou uma correlação entre anos de prática de slackline e resistência flexora (r = 0,674; p = 0,046), lateral direita (r = 0,765; p = 0,016) e esquerda (r = 0,730; p = 0,026 ) do tronco. Em conclusão, aqueles que praticam slacklining mantêm o teste lateral esquerdo da prancha e ponte por mais tempo e alcançam um alcance maior na DE instável em comparação com os indivíduos FI que não a praticam.
