Resumen
Este artículo surge como resultado de la gran incertidumbre que existe actualmente en el contexto educativo como consecuencia de la implementación de un modelo de emergencia de educación a distancia en tiempos de COVID-19 en todo el mundo. El trabajo aporta la perspectiva de 2063 estudiantes de diversos contextos del sureste mexicano, que contestaron un instrumento que evaluó cuatro dominios del proceso de enseñanza a distancia: Tareas y estrategias, Diseño del curso, Comunicación e Interacción, Contenido y Actitud. Existieron notables diferencias en cuanto a las percepciones de los estudiantes urbanos y rurales en todos los dominios evaluados. La Comunicación e interacción obtuvo el puntaje más alto en los estudiantes de contextos rurales y urbanos, en contraste los más bajos registrados para los dos contextos fueron: Diseño de tareas y estrategias para los contextos urbanos y el dominio Actitud para los contextos rurales. Una de las conclusiones de este estudio evidencia las desventajas en las que se encuentran los estudiantes pertenecientes a las comunidades rurales y el posible aumento en las brechas de desigualdad de acceso al conocimiento durante el confinamiento.
