El Prácticum en la Titulación de Pedagogía: discurso y práctica profesional

Las propuestas actuales de la Convergencia Europea conceden un papel predominante al Practicum, como espacio único para la socialización profesional, ello supone un cambio en los planteamientos y en la configuración de la formación que se imparte en las universidades, para relacionarla con las necesidades del mundo laboral. Sin embargo, son numerosos los factores que intervienen para conseguir que el Practicum cumpla los objetivos que se le asignan; por una parte, las políticas sociales, por otra, la propia política universitaria respecto al valor que le concede al Practicum en su organización y gestión, en diferentes planos: universidad, decanato, departamentos, profesorado, instituciones externas privadas y públicas, empresas… En este artículo pretendemos analizar las posibilidades y limitaciones que se presentan para conseguir hacer realidad un Practicum que contribuya a una formación en íntima relación con la experiencia profesional.

The actual proposals of the European Convergence are giving predominant role to the Practicum, as unique space for the professional socialization, that suppose a change to the approaches and in the configuration of the formation given in the universities, so it can be related with the necessities of the working world. However, there are several factors that take part to get the Practicum to fulfil the aims assigned. On one hand, the social politics, in the other hand, the own university politic regarding the value that the Practicum has within it organization and management structure, in different areas: university, departments, senior members, lecturers, professors, external private institutions and external public institutions, companies… In this article we try to analyze the possibilities and limits that are present to achieve a real practicum to contribute to a theoretical formation in close relation with the professional experience.
