Abstract
This article offfers a perspective on the core themes which fall under the heading Design and Evaluation of Citizenship Education Programmes which will be the object of reflection and experience sharing in the fifth section of the XIV National and III Iber-American Pedagogy Congress. It presents the key elements which we consider necessary to orient such programmes, the particular features which should form part of the evaluation process in the context of citizenship building and an analysis of the role of social networks as a valid methodological procedure in citizenship studies.
