Abstract

The following article discusses several matters about inclusive education of students with cultural, social and educational problems in common classrooms. Some key concepts will be clarified such as: culture, identity, diversity and inclusion. Afterwards, we will focus on the most important features of inclusive education and its nowadays role in the new intercultural context. An active participation of every student in learning processes with the purpose of reaching the highest level, depending on personal characteristics. It is important not to forget the new view of an open-minded educational plan, more flexible and more participative, which it is channelled into every student, with special attention to educational plan adaptations and the new evaluation offered, appropriate to specific necessities of specific students. The role teachers play is very important in the school framework and its training in inclusive education, we can not forget the complementary role of the community liaison in the inclusive classrooms. Finally we offer some future proposals, to take into account 21st century school.
