Evolução dos documentos relacionados ao estudo do desempenho esportivo no taekwondo: uma revisão bibliométrica

Taekwondo é uma arte marcial coreana, esporte de combate e disciplina olímpica. A competição de taekwondo caracteriza-se por ser um esporte individual (1X1), torneio de eliminação única e sistema de repescagem. O objetivo deste estudo é realizar uma revisão bibliométrica sobre o tema “Taekwondo” e “Performance”, por meio de manuscritos identificados e publicados na base de dados Web of Science (WOS) até 31 de dezembro de 2022. A análise bibliométrica foi utilizada para analisar um conjunto de dados de 460 manuscritos indexados no WOS publicados entre 1992 e 2022. Foram realizadas análises descritivas, de citação, autoria, país, institucional e coocorrência de palavras-chave sobre o desempenho esportivo do taekwondo. Os manuscritos encontrados na base de dados WOS estão inseridos nas categorias: “Ciência do Esporte” (n = 229), “Hospitalidade Lazer Turismo Esportivo” (n = 48) e “Fisiologia” (n = 32). Os autores Kazemi et al. (2006), Matsushigue et al. (2009) e Paillard (2017) são os pesquisadores mais publicados e citados. Os países com maior número de manuscritos publicados para fins deste estudo são Brasil (n = 83), Coreia do Sul (n = 57) e Espanha (n = 52). Também encontramos cinco redes de colaboração entre autores e instituições, constatando uma lacuna em pesquisadores tematicamente relevantes. Os autores deveriam ter destacado Franchini, E., (n = 42), e Falco, C., (n = 20). Recomenda-se a realização de pesquisas multidimensionais sobre o desempenho esportivo do Taekwondo com o objetivo de estabelecer colaborações dentro de grupos, instituições e países. Desta forma, aumentariam a produtividade, a eficácia e a qualidade da investigação, bem como as redes de colaboração internacional.
