Teaching-learning process and research activity in the context of the European Higher Education Area

Abstract
The current introductory paper to the monograph “Teaching, learning and research assessment in the European Higher Education Area”, emphasizes the important changes that the creation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has involved at two levels: teaching-learning process and research. After, a presentation of the ten papers that compose this monograph is exposed. Two groups of papers were considered. The first of them is mainly focused on teaching-learning process and the second group is focused on aspects related to research assessment.
