Relação entre desempenho físico e carga de jogo e efeitos de duas partidas consecutivas em jogadores de futebol com paralisia cerebral

Os objetivos do presente estudo foram analisar a relação entre o desempenho físico e a carga de jogo em jogadores de futebol com paralisia cerebral (PC), e analisar o possível impacto do formato da Liga Espanhola (jogar duas partidas em dois dias consecutivos) no carga de jogo dos jogadores. Os dados de uma equipe espanhola de futebol americano (n = 10; idade: 31,0 ± 8,9 anos; peso: 66,1 ± 8,6 kg; altura: 172,2 ± 7,8 cm; IMC: 22,5 ± 2,9 kg · m-2) incluídos antropométricos (peso, altura e IMC), desempenho físico (CMJ, 5, 10 e 20-m sprint e MAT) e variáveis de carga de jogo (distância percorrida, acelerações e desacelerações, frequência cardíaca, velocidade e carga do jogador) de duas partidas oficiais. O desempenho físico dos jogadores, mas não suas medidas antropométricas, se correlacionou com as variáveis de carga da partida (r = 0,76–0,95; p = 0,04–0,01), exceto para acelerações, desacelerações e variáveis relacionadas à frequência cardíaca (p> 0,05). Os dados de carga de jogo dos jogadores não foram estatisticamente diferentes entre os jogos. Os resultados sugerem que o desempenho físico dos jogadores influencia as variáveis de carga da partida, e as variáveis de carga desses jogadores em competição não parecem ser afetadas pelo fato de jogar duas partidas em dois dias consecutivos. A maneira como o desempenho físico e a fadiga dos jogadores podem afetar as variáveis de carga da partida precisa de mais pesquisas no futebol americano.
