Resumo

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi determinar a relação entre o salto com contramovimento e testes de velocidade (10-30 m) e agilidade. A amostra foi composta por 169 jovens futebolistas das categorias sub-13 e sub-19, aos quais foram aplicados os testes de contra-movimento de salto, velocidade (10-30m) e agilidade em ziguezague. Os resultados mostram que a altura do salto de contra-movimento apresenta uma alta correlação negativa com a velocidade 10 m (r = -. 693), 30 m (r = -. 731) e agilidade (r = -. 490). Da mesma forma, os resultados da força de salto de contra-movimento são negativamente correlacionados com a velocidade de 10 m (r = -. 658), 30 m (r = -. 719) e agilidade (r = -. 484). Os maiores coeficientes de determinação corresponderam à altura do salto e velocidade do contramovimento (r2 = 0,534) e à potência do salto e velocidade do contramovimento (r2 = 0,517). Os resultados obtidos no presente estudo sugerem que o salto com contramovimento tem alto grau de influência no desempenho da velocidade (10-30 m), o que parece não ser tão claro na variável agilidade.
