This monograph addresses the issue of resilience and the challenges it presents. It offers new perspectives for its analysis and consideration that go beyond the individual quality, but also as a social process and community contextual interaction. All of this is done by situating resilience in the particular framework of the margins of society, that of social inequality, lack of opportunities, closed institutions and social and educational exclusion.
