Abstract

The article highlights the religious man, by presenting on the one hand religious experience as a component of the human person, as well as by displaying the Christian fact as an original humanism, which is capable of responding to questions of meaning, as also in providing a rich cultural heritage, of which the Bible is a significant code. Also through its communicative process, as a method of documentation, confrontation and dialogue, it is able to overcome fundamentalism, contributes in an eminent manner to an interreligious and intercultural encounter, which is very important today, and, this way, it proposes the image of the wise man who is capable of dialogue and discernment. Finally, the necessary educative relationship in scholastic religious teaching, by enlievening the school, provides a similar help to develop man’s religious identity by making him the communicative man.
