Abstract

This article meaning is pointed out in the way that socialization term is used. Later on, are exposed some features of family and youth situation and of media role, as contexts where family as socialization agent is framed. Data are offered and distinction among diverse family types and its socialization strategies are shown. The school role, as agent of socialization process, is described, within the context of educational system and student ´s situation evolution. Such aspects are exposed as well as the importance of the school as a place that transmits relevant ideas to interpret the world, the people or institutions whom youths share with their religious anxiety and that influence upon their religious attitudes. Also treated are religious lessons, their demand and their acceptance by youths and adolescents. Finally, some current tendencies of the socialization process and evolution of agents are exposed, to end by uncovering the characteristics that such process presents.
