HELP PROGRAMMES TO IMPROVE THE CONVIVENCE. WELLBEING IN SCHOOLS

Abstract
It starts with an analysis of the different aspects related to «convivencia (wellbeing)» and the phases to implement «Plans to improve convivencia» in schools. The different types of programs: inner development, half-closed and closed are described focusing on its good and bad aspects. Peer education and its different models of intervention are described including: school mediators, peer helpers, peer tutors, mentors, peer facilitators, etc. The article concludes with a qualitative assessment of the cultural changes and benefits that these models bring both to the schools and to the students involved in them.
