Abstract

This article’s principal aim is to show how to incorporate the education of writing in the curricula of Castilian Language without modifying it substantially, by means of a tool used in the education of foreign languages: the so called «Portfolio». First, it will be brought to collate the most modern conceptions about the process of the writing in order to define what is what we have to teach. At the end of this explanation, it will be possible to check how writing is essentially a sociocultural process that it is necessary to approach from a functional, communicative and constructive perspective. Secondly, we will expose the consequences that these ideas have in our didactics: exposition of didactic extensive units that bear aspects of the intention, the real use of the texts and the sequence in tasks of a project. Finally, there will be an example that could be used as a model for our programmes.
