Game Talk: explorando os recursos linguísticos dos comentários esportivos

Resumo

Este estudo investiga as características linguísticas do comentário esportivo. O foco está no uso de técnicas de polidez e variações linguísticas específicas de gênero observadas na Copa do Mundo FIFA de 2022. Este estudo utilizou uma abordagem qualitativa. Este estudo examinou a coleta de feedback em tempo real de vários jogos da Copa do Mundo de 2022. A análise deste estudo concentra-se em métodos de educação proeminentes, incluindo críticas moderadas, descrições neutras, reconhecimento respeitoso e reforço positivo. Além disso, investiga a eficácia destas estratégias no contexto específico da transmissão desportiva ao vivo. As descobertas sugerem que o uso de táticas educadas é importante para manter os usuários profissionais e um tom atraente ao comentar a partida. Este estudo descobriu que as comentaristas do sexo feminino estavam dispostas a usar uma linguagem mais cooperativa e de apoio, enfatizando o trabalho e o esforço em equipe, enquanto os comentaristas do sexo masculino estavam dispostos a usar uma linguagem mais competitiva e autoritária, com foco no desempenho individual e na análise estratégica. Estas descobertas são consistentes com a investigação sobre comunicação de género e enfatizam a importância de compreender estilos de comunicação especiais nos comentários desportivos. Este ramo de estudo tem grande importância tanto para o campo da radiodifusão esportiva quanto para o ramo da linguística. Os resultados indicam que os programas de formação de comentadores devem incluir o conhecimento de técnicas de polidez e estilos de comunicação específicos de género para aumentar a participação do público e proporcionar uma experiência de visualização agradável. Este trabalho melhora o conhecimento do uso da linguagem em comentários esportivos em tempo real, como situações dinâmicas e culturalmente significativas na forma de tiques linguísticos. Destacar a importância da linguagem para refletir e reforçar valores e convenções culturais, promover a inclusão e aprofundar os laços do espectador com o evento.
