Resumo

Objetivo: Analisar a associação entre aptidão física aeróbica e metabolismo glicolítico em jogadores profissionais adultos chilenos do sexo masculino. Como objetivo secundário, examinar as diferenças entre as posições de jogo. Métodos: A amostra corresponde a 31 jogadores de futebol profissional adulto pertencentes a um clube da Primera B do Chile. A aptidão aeróbica foi determinada através do teste de resistência intermitente Yo-Yo nível I. Uma amostra de lactato foi obtida após sua realização, com o objetivo de analisar a implicação do metabolismo glicolítico. O teste de Pearson foi realizado para identificar as associações entre as variáveis ​​e o teste one-way ANOVA foi realizado para analisar as diferenças entre as posições de jogo. Resultados: Não há relação entre aptidão aeróbica e metabolismo glicolítico (r=0,165 e p=0,375). Da mesma forma, não há diferenças entre as posições para aptidão aeróbica (p=0,64) e produção de lactato (p=0,75). Conclusão: O desempenho em esforços dependentes de oxigênio não está relacionado à capacidade glicolítica para esta amostra de jogadores profissionais de futebol, portanto, não é possível projetar influências entre as variáveis, nem em função da posição no campo de jogo.
