Abstract
The persistent and emerging challenges for educational organisations The educational institutions are characterized for being complex organizations, which integrate multiple perspectives and provoke not few controversies. The requirements that the society directs the educational institutions are not easy to attend. There is long the series of persistent and emergent challenges that come affecting the educational organizations. In this article some of the most significant are analyzed, with the aim to stimulate the debate and the reflection on the same ones. The current societies in transformation do not constitute a comfortable platform for the educational organizations, since they direct numerous demands for them, that in some occasions are contradictory, which forces them to implement a diversity of organizational strategies, sometimes difficultly to combine adequately. In any case, the answers of the educational institutions to the persistent and emergent challenges, which they have to face, should be neither only relating to the moment nor partial.
