Abstract

Asthenia (or fatigue) is one of the most common symptoms in the palliative patients. The methylphenidate is frequently used to treat this condition. A related literature review update was performed, revealing methylphenidate as a secure drug which could decrease fatigue in the palliative patients with a tolerable side-effects profile
