Descobrindo a ciência da resistência física: técnicas de treinamento e fatores biológicos

Resumo

Este estudo examina os muitos elementos que influenciam o desempenho de resistência em estudantes universitários, incluindo rotinas de treinamento, resistência psicológica, tendências hereditárias e ajustes ambientais. Os dados foram coletados de 38 estudantes universitários praticantes de esportes de resistência por meio de metodologia descritiva. Os resultados revelam um compromisso significativo com o treino de resistência, com os indivíduos participando normalmente em quatro sessões por semana, cada uma com duração de cerca de 60 minutos. A resiliência psicológica desempenha um papel importante: 82% dos participantes apresentam fortes níveis de motivação intrínseca e 74% demonstram força mental para superar obstáculos. 37% dos participantes têm histórico familiar de desempenho de resistência, enquanto 29% estão interessados ​​em testes genéticos, mostrando opiniões diferentes sobre os efeitos hereditários no desempenho. Os resultados de desempenho são muito afetados pelas condições ambientais, como treinamento em altitude (42%) e aclimatação ao calor (63%), que são táticas frequentemente utilizadas. Os exames fisiológicos mostram um VO2máx médio de 50 ml/kg/min, juntamente com uma composição de fibras musculares composta por 55% de fibras de contração lenta e 45% de fibras de contração rápida. Os resultados destacam a natureza complexa dos elementos que influenciam o desempenho de resistência em estudantes universitários, enfatizando a necessidade de sistemas de apoio personalizados. As universidades podem melhorar os resultados de desempenho e promover o desenvolvimento integral dos atletas considerando fatores fisiológicos, psicológicos, genéticos e ambientais. Este estudo melhora a compreensão dos aspectos complexos do desempenho de resistência em estudantes universitários, oferecendo informações valiosas para melhorar o treinamento atlético e programas de apoio. As recomendações dos treinadores devem personalizar os programas de treino com base nas necessidades individuais dos atletas, utilizando uma forte motivação intrínseca e resiliência mental para criar uma atmosfera de treino favorável e melhorar os resultados de desempenho.
