Programas de intervenção em dança e seus benefícios para a saúde de escolares: revisão sistemática

Resumo

Os programas de intervenção em dança têm-se mostrado eficazes na promoção da saúde geral de crianças e adolescentes entre os 3 e os 14 anos. O objetivo desta revisão sistemática foi analisar esta disciplina e os benefícios que ela traz para a saúde de quem a pratica. Foram seguidas as diretrizes do PRISMA 2020. Foi realizada uma busca abrangente em quatro bases de dados eletrônicas: Web of Science, Scopus, MEDLINE e Proquest. Os termos de busca utilizados foram: “Dança” e “Intervenção” e “Saúde” e “Crianças” e “Adolescentes”. No total, 15 estudos foram incluídos na revisão sistemática. Após a análise dos resultados, concluiu-se que a prática A dança pode produzir melhorias em todas as áreas, sendo as mais estudadas aquelas relacionadas à saúde física, especificamente melhorando os níveis de atividade física (AF), a composição corporal e a saúde cardiovascular.
