Treinamento inovador focado na motivação para atletas de taekwondo e caratê nas cidades de Yogyakarta e Bujumbura

Técnicas de treinamento em artes marciais comprovadas por pesquisas criam ambientes de treinamento envolventes e satisfatórios para os atletas. Esta pesquisa quantitativa descritiva investigou práticas de treinamento de Taekwondo e Karatê focadas na motivação dos atletas para participar da modalidade, alcançar conquistas. O estudo inclui 188 atletas de Karatê e Taekwondo (100 meninos, 88 meninas) das cidades de Yogyakarta e Bujumbura, selecionados através do método de amostragem probabilística e técnicas de amostragem aleatória simples. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi a Escala de Motivação para Realização Esportiva, adaptada da Escala de Motivação para Realização. Procedimento de análise dos dados utilizando ANOVA two-way com programa R e estatística descritiva. Os resultados indicam diferenças significativas na motivação de realização da participação desportiva entre artistas marciais de Taekwondo e Karaté de Bujumbura e Yogyakarta. Além disso, os impulsos motivacionais variam entre atletas masculinos e femininos, independentemente do país. O perfil motivacional dominante é o Foco-Sucesso na Formação (MST), com 8 dos 14 itens acordados dentro desta dimensão. No geral, os atletas mostram um nível de motivação “Concordo” para o sucesso na participação desportiva (x̄ = -0,473 logits), destacando a importância do treino motivacional focado no perfil para melhorar o sucesso. Estas descobertas podem orientar os treinadores de Taekwondo e Karate na adaptação de métodos e intervenções para se alinharem com os perfis motivacionais dos atletas.
