Avaliação da dor musculoesquelética em alunos de diferentes estilos de Conservatórios de Dança

Resumo

A dor musculoesquelética é considerada normal na dança devido à sua alta prevalência, independente do nível e estilo. O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a dor musculoesquelética em alunos de Conservatórios de Dança da Andaluzia, Espanha, comparando sua prevalência, localização e intensidade para cada um dos estilos estudados nestes centros educacionais: dança clássica (DC), dança contemporânea (DCO), Dança espanhola (DE) e dança flamenca (BF). A metodologia foi quantitativa com delineamento transversal, não experimental e correlacional. O questionário Autoestimada de Incapacidade Funcional Por Causa da Dor foi utilizado em 451 estudantes do Ensino Profissional e Superior de Dança e outro questionário ad hoc. Os resultados mostraram alta prevalência de dores musculoesqueléticas (75,6%) em bailarinos, principalmente nas costas, joelhos e tornozelos. Os maiores escores de dor ocorreram no membro inferior. Foram encontradas diferenças na intensidade e localização da dor por ensino e estilos, sendo maiores nas costas para BF (p=0,01), no tornozelo em estudantes DC e DCO (p=0,01) e nos dedos dos pés em DC (p<0,001). Os alunos dos Conservatórios de Dança da Andaluzia sentem frequentemente dores músculo-esqueléticas devido à prática de dança que difere de acordo com as exigências físicas e biomecânicas de cada estilo e destacam a importância da prevenção de lesões específicas neste grupo.
