Desempenho não acadêmico do aluno-atleta no departamento de esportes

O objetivo deste estudo é examinar o desempenho não acadêmico de estudantes-atletas no atletismo universitário. A pesquisa sobre o tema destacou a complexa interação entre as identidades dos estudantes-atletas como atletas e acadêmicos. O autor entrevistou 319 estudantes-atletas no ambiente da faculdade de esportes da Universidade de Educação da Indonésia. A pesquisa foi realizada utilizando os fatores não cognitivos que afetam o desempenho dos alunos-atletas, que incluem três indicadores principais, como percepções dos alunos-atletas pelos professores, colegas e pelos próprios alunos-atletas; experiências acadêmicas de um aluno-atleta; e consciência dos fatores que influenciam. Os resultados mostram que o desempenho não acadêmico dos alunos-atletas está na categoria regular. As três dimensões apresentam pontuação média de 3,08 para as experiências acadêmicas da dimensão aluno-atleta, 3,19 para a dimensão consciência dos fatores influentes e 3,14 para as percepções dos indicadores aluno-atleta por parte do corpo docente, dos colegas e do aluno-atleta . A análise de regressão mostra a contribuição de cada dimensão do desempenho não acadêmico do aluno-atleta, mostrando uma contribuição relativa de 35% das percepções do professor, dos colegas e do aluno-atleta, 30% das experiências acadêmicas e 35% das experiências acadêmicas. de fatores que influenciam. As conclusões do estudo demonstram que o desempenho não acadêmico dos estudantes atletas nas faculdades esportivas tem efeitos negativos. Essa condição torna-se um desafio para as instituições de ensino criarem um arranjo acadêmico especial para estudantes-atletas; A continuação de uma situação não académica deve ser concebida para apoiar o seu desempenho académico.
