Background: Motor coordination is a fundamental skill during childhood, given its decisive role in the development of various physical qualities throughout human growth. Objective: To analyze the effects of a motor coordination program on the overall physical condition of Russian students aged 9 to 10 years. Materials and Methods: A controlled, parallel, and randomized single-blind trial was conducted at secondary school No. 52, from September 6, 2022, to May 18, 2023. Sixty-two third-grade children participated. Those assigned to the experimental group underwent motor coordination task sessions twice a week, each lasting 40 minutes. The assessment of their physical condition was conducted through specific tests, including "Throwing the ball," "3 x 10m Shuttle run," "Forward somersaults," and "Stand on one leg." Statistical analysis used the Student's t-test, with the effect size determined by Cohen's 'd.' Results: In comparison with the control group, the experimental group exhibited a significant increase in the tests of "Throwing the ball" (9.1%; p <0.05; d = 0.57), "3 x 10m Shuttle run" (14%; p <0.05; d = 3.79), "Forward somersaults" (17.7%; p <0.05; d = 2.46), and "Stand on one leg" (8.4%; p <0.05; d = 0.83). Conclusion: It is concluded that the implementation of a physical exercise program focused on motor coordination can generate significant improvements in overall physical condition.
