Resumo

A obesidade infantil está se tornando um grave problema de saúde, por isso é necessário elaborar programas escolares que ofereçam uma solução para essa situação. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é desenhar uma intervenção preventiva para a obesidade infantil em crianças do ensino básico, centrada na educação nutricional e aumento da atividade física (AF), através da utilização das novas tecnologias como elemento motivador. A amostra é constituída por 80 alunos do terceiro ciclo do Ensino Básico, 38 rapazes e 42 raparigas com idades compreendidas entre os 10 e os 13 anos. Para el desarrollo del programa de fomento de la AF y de la ali-mentación saludable, los participantes se dividen en dos grupos que llevan a cabo el mismo programa, pero un grupo además utiliza la aplicación móvil (app) «Class Dojo» como refuerzo do mesmo. Dessa forma, esperamos melhorar o conhecimento sobre alimentação saudável e nível de AF de escolares e que isso possa ter um impacto significativo em seu índice de massa corporal (IMC) no futuro.
