Estado atual do desempenho esportivo em Boccia: revisão sistemática da literatura

A bocha é um esporte paraolímpico e praticado com uma perspectiva recreativa pela população. O desempenho esportivo nesse esporte paraolímpico envolve complexidade. Assim sendo, o objetivo deste estudo foi realizar uma revisão sistemática da literatura relacionada com a Boccia, e especificamente na área do rendimento desportivo. As palavras-chave “Boccia” e “Performance” foram utilizadas como descritores na busca de referências. As palavras em inglês foram inseridas nos bancos de dados Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus e Google Scholar. Foram encontrados 669 documentos com a palavra “Boccia”, e depois de incluir a palavra “Performance” os resultados foram reduzidos a 26 documentos. Para isso, foram aplicados três critérios de exclusão: i) Documentos não publicados em periódicos científicos; ii) Os documentos não mencionem no título ou no resumo “Boccia” e “Performance”; e iii) Documentos de Teses de Doutorado, Capítulos de Livros, Resumos de Congressos ou Resumos. Por fim, foram selecionados 9 documentos que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão e exclusão até fevereiro de 2022. Os resultados confirmaram que os documentos relacionados ao Boccia são escassos em comparação com outros esportes para pessoas com deficiência. Portanto, o esporte paraolímpico tem sido analisado sob a ótica de uma grande diversidade de disciplinas, porém, dentro da disciplina “Ciência do Coaching” há um grande espaço e necessidade de aumentar as pesquisas, a fim de melhorar as condições de treinamento e otimizar o desempenho esportivo.
