Análise da formação de professores para práticas educativas ao ar livre

Resumo

A conexão com o ambiente natural é oferecida como importante reforço dos processos de ensino-aprendizagem. As práticas educativas ao ar livre (PEAL) constituem uma metodologia inovadora cuja presença é cada vez mais marcante nos centros educativos, pelos benefícios que trazem aos alunos. Estudos anteriores mostram essas melhorias, mas poucos avaliaram a formação de professores para essas práticas, as diferenças entre os centros e as necessidades para realizá-las. Portanto, o presente estudo busca analisar a percepção da formação dos professores de Educação Física (EF) da Extremadura em relação ao PEAL, bem como sua prática, verificando possíveis diferenças dependendo da localização do centro e analisando as barreiras que impedem sua prática. Participaram especialistas em EF de ambientes rurais e urbanos. Foi utilizado um questionário composto por 11 questões relacionadas ao pensamento que os professores têm sobre as práticas educativas ao ar livre. E foi realizada uma análise descritiva para dar a conhecer a realidade. Os resultados mostraram que os professores têm uma baixa percepção da formação nesta área (76,6%), sendo os dos centros urbanos a melhor percepção da formação (75%). Mesmo assim, sua prática é maior nos centros rurais (64,8%). Concluiu-se que os professores em geral precisam de aumentar a sua formação no PEAL, em maior medida os professores dos centros rurais e a sua prática deve ser promovida, sobretudo nos centros educativos urbanos onde é menos praticado, entre outros pela falta de espaços natural próximo Entre as barreiras estão as relacionadas à administração, a falta de informação e o risco que essa prática acarreta. Portanto, o apoio da comunidade educacional e das administrações competentes seria necessário para sua implementação.
