Evolução da pesquisa psicossocial sobre doping no esporte competitivo: uma revisão narrativa

Resumo. Considerando que os eixos básicos que compõem o sistema antidopagem são o legislativo, o biomédico e o psicossocial, as pesquisas neste último têm sido as mais recentes a surgir. O objetivo principal deste estudo é realizar uma revisão bibliográfica aprofundada sobre o estudo do doping no esporte competitivo na perspectiva das ciências sociais e identificar novos desafios da pesquisa antidoping para melhorar as estratégias de prevenção na Espanha. A revisão indica que existem diferentes modelos teóricos aplicados para compreender atitudes, intenções e comportamentos em relação ao doping. Da mesma forma, muitos fatores individuais, sociais e específicos do esporte podem influenciar o doping. Em Espanha, em particular, a evolução do combate ao doping tem sido tardia e é necessário promover uma maior investigação científica no eixo psicossocial, com maior coordenação entre investigadores, organizações antidopagem e federações desportivas nacionais.
