Questionário de Atividade Física para Crianças Mais Velhas (PAQ-C) Versão Indonésia: Análise Fatorial Confirmatória

Resumo

Este estudo tem como objetivo adaptar o Questionário de Atividade Física para Crianças Mais Velhas (PAQ-C) para crianças indonésias dos 9 aos 11 anos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa analítica com uma abordagem de estudo transversal. O instrumento foi adaptado de uma investigação desenvolvida por Kowalski et al., 1997. Foi traduzido para a língua indonésia e também validado por académicos das ciências do desporto para que a adaptação do questionário fosse melhor antes da recolha dos dados. Os resultados da adaptação do questionário continham a identidade da amostra (nome, sexo, data de nascimento e idade, classe, peso, altura) e 10 questões. Foi recolhida uma amostra de 401 alunos, com idades compreendidas entre os 9 e os 11 anos, de zonas urbanas, suburbanas e rurais. A análise dos dados utilizada foi a Análise Fatorial Confirmatória (AFC) através do LISREL. Os resultados deste estudo mostraram que o valor da carga fatorial padronizada (SLF) em cada item do questionário foi >0,5, o valor da variância média extraída (AVE) foi de 0,659 > 0,5 e o valor de fiabilidade do constructo (CR ) foi de 0,892 > 0,7. Com base nestes resultados, o questionário apresentou uma boa validade convergente. Portanto, a versão indonésia do PAQ-C para idades dos 9 aos 11 anos era adequada para utilização. Pode concluir-se que o instrumento de medição pode medir com precisão o nível de actividade física das crianças em áreas urbanas, suburbanas e rurais, e proporcionar confiança aos investigadores indonésios para a sua utilização. No geral, este estudo enfatiza a importância de uma abordagem holística e integrada para apoiar a atividade física das crianças, que é influenciada pela interação de várias camadas do ambiente físico e social.
