Relação entre a relação 2D:4D, as variáveis ​​de desempenho físico e a composição corporal em atletas de elite de luta livre

Resumo

Contexto: A relação 2D:4D em vários desportos revelou relações significativas entre este indicador digital e o desempenho desportivo, mas poucos estudos se debruçaram sobre lutadores de elite. Assim sendo, o presente estudo tem dois objetivos principais: em primeiro lugar, apresentar dados descritivos comparando-os entre sexos, e em segundo lugar, identificar correlações significativas com a relação 2D:4D. Métodos: Participaram no estudo 22 lutadores, tendo sido comparadas as suas variáveis ​​antropométricas, relação 2D:4D bilateral, potência muscular (CMJ), força de tração isométrica e força de preensão manual. Resultados: Os resultados mostram correlações significativas entre a relação 2D:4D direita e a massa residual (r = 0,46; p < 0,05); Z-Score do tórax transverso (r = 0,61; p < 0,01); inversamente com o ectomorfo (r = -0,46; p < 0,05) e a força de preensão manual (r = 0,43; p = 0,042); e a relação 2D:4D esquerdo com o Z-Score das circunferências torácicas (r = 0,45; p < 0,05) e o Z-Score do peso (r = 0,43; p = 0,042). Conclusões: Conclui-se que a relação 2D:4D pode ser um indicador preditivo dos componentes da composição corporal, bem como uma medida de desempenho da força de preensão manual e da capacidade respiratória em atletas olímpicos de luta livre.
