Nanotecnologia na comunidade de atletas a partir de sua aplicação na detecção de doping: revisão sistemática da literatura e meta-análise

Resumo

Este estudo examina a eficácia e a precisão das aplicações da nanotecnologia na detecção de doping na comunidade de atletas. A nanotecnologia oferece uma abordagem inovadora com potencial para detectar substâncias dopantes de forma mais eficiente e precisa. O método utilizado neste estudo é uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL) e uma meta-análise, com artigos selecionados nas bases de dados Scopus e Web of Science (WoS) abrangendo os anos 2020-2024. O processo de seleção utiliza o método PRISMA e inclui apenas artigos de pesquisa relevantes ao tema. Um total de 13 estudos foram selecionados para análise posterior. Os resultados da meta-análise indicam que os métodos Voltametria de Pulso Diferencial (DPV) e Ensaio de Imunoabsorção Enzimática (ELISA) fornecem resultados altamente precisos e confiáveis ​​na detecção de doping. Não foram encontradas diferenças significativas entre o uso de soro e urina como amostras de teste. Além disso, os sensores nanocompósitos provaram ser mais eficazes do que os sensores normais na detecção de substâncias dopantes com alta precisão. As principais conclusões dos resultados incluem a ausência de um efeito significativo na distinção entre os métodos DPV e ELISA (Z = 0,53, P = 0,60), a falta de heterogeneidade significativa entre os estudos analisados ​​em relação ao soro e à urina (Chi² = 0,90, df = 2, P = 0,64; Tau² = 0,00) e os sensores nanocompósitos provando ser mais eficazes que os sensores regulares (Z = 4,14, P < 0,0001; I² = 0%). Em conclusão, a nanotecnologia tem um grande potencial para melhorar a deteção de dopagem no desporto. O uso de nanomateriais e nanosensores pode melhorar a sensibilidade, especificidade e precisão na detecção de substâncias dopantes, tornando-se uma ferramenta altamente eficaz para manter a integridade e a saúde dos atletas. Este estudo fornece uma base sólida para o desenvolvimento de tecnologias de detecção de doping baseadas em nanotecnologia mais eficientes e eficazes no futuro.
