Tendência da pesquisa em educação física nos últimos 100 anos: análise bibliométrica e revisão sistemática da base de dados da revista Scopus

Resumo

Este estudo realizou uma análise bibliométrica e uma revisão sistemática das tendências da pesquisa em educação física durante os 100 anos anteriores, utilizando a base de dados da revista Scopus. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo mapear o progresso acadêmico da disciplina e evidenciar as alterações conceituais e metodológicas ocorridas. Utilizando a base de dados da revista Scopus, foram compilados artigos relacionados à educação física publicados nos últimos 100 anos para esta análise bibliométrica. Utilizando “educação física” como frase de busca, a busca de artigos limitou os resultados às publicações publicadas entre 1924 e 2023. Critérios de exclusão foram utilizados para eliminar publicações que não tivessem relevância para o tema principal da pesquisa. Com base na sua importância e pertinência, 217 artigos de uma triagem preliminar de 43.238 foram selecionados para revisão adicional. Em seguida, esses dados foram examinados utilizando o programa visualizador VOS para procurar tendências, padrões de citação e contribuições institucionais. O método de revisão de literatura também foi aplicado aos 10 principais artigos, sendo um deles selecionado como o artigo mais citado em um período de dez anos. A abordagem de revisão da literatura seguiu as diretrizes PRISMA para garantir um processo de seleção de artigos aberto e replicável. As conclusões do estudo demonstram como a educação física evoluiu significativamente desde a sua ênfase original nas componentes militaristas e físicas para uma abordagem mais inclusiva e tecnologicamente avançada que incorpora a saúde mental e a inclusão. As conclusões do estudo fornecem um padrão para futuras investigações neste campo, confirmando o valor da educação física na promoção do desempenho acadêmico e do bem-estar geral.
