Ansiedade sócio-física na adolescência em estudantes espanhóis de Educação Física

Resumo

A ansiedade física e social (APS) é uma síndrome cada vez mais comum entre os adolescentes, devido à sua vulnerabilidade, que leva a doenças mentais graves. Está intimamente relacionado com o autoconceito de imagem corporal. Varia consoante o sexo, a idade, o índice de massa corporal (IMC), a aptidão física e o contexto social. Objectivo: O objectivo deste estudo é saber como a APS afecta os estudantes espanhóis de Educação Física, avaliando possíveis diferenças em função do género. Pretende-se também descobrir se existe correlação entre a APS e a idade e IMC dos alunos. Métodos: Foram questionados 306 estudantes de Educação Física com teste sociodemográfico e Escala Físico-Social e de Ansiedade (SPAS-7). Resultados: Foram encontradas associações significativas entre a SAF e o sexo (p<0,01). Conclusões: A APS afecta adolescentes estudantes de educação física espanhóis, com níveis mais elevados nas raparigas do que nos rapazes. As políticas de saúde pública são necessárias para reduzir os CSP em idades vulneráveis ​​e implementar políticas de género para reduzir a incidência, especialmente nas mulheres.
