Aplicação de métodos de treinamento em circuito para melhorar o condicionamento físico do VO2max: um estudo experimental em atletas de handebol

Resumo

O handebol é um jogo intenso que acontece em duas rodadas de 30 minutos cada. É muito importante que todos os jogadores tenham uma boa condição de VO2máx para promover o desempenho durante os treinos e partidas. Este estudo tem como objetivo examinar a aplicação de métodos de treinamento em circuito para melhorar as condições físicas, especialmente os níveis de VO2máx, em atletas de handebol. O método de treinamento em circuito é considerado uma abordagem eficaz para melhorar a resistência e a aptidão dos atletas. Esta pesquisa é um tipo de experimento que usa um design pré-teste-pós-grupo único. Os sujeitos deste estudo foram a equipa distrital de andebol dos Sambas, com idades compreendidas entre os 17 e os 22 anos. A técnica de amostragem proposital resultou em uma amostra de 15 atletas. Os atletas de handebol participantes deste estudo foram submetidos a um método de treinamento em circuito elaborado no programa de treinamento e realizado durante 12 partidas com frequência de três vezes por semana. A mensuração do nível de VO2máx foi realizada antes e após o período de treinamento por meio do instrumento Yoyo Intermittent Recovery Test Nível 1. Os resultados apresentaram valor de significância de 0,000<0,05. Com base nesses resultados, foi demonstrado que o treinamento em circuito proporciona um aumento significativo no VO2máx em atletas de handebol. Espera-se que os resultados deste estudo contribuam para a compreensão da eficácia dos métodos de treinamento em circuito na melhoria das condições físicas, especialmente dos níveis de VO2máx, em atletas de handebol. As implicações deste estudo podem ser úteis na concepção de um programa de treino mais focado na melhoria do desempenho dos atletas de andebol através de uma abordagem de treino que se adapte às suas necessidades fisiológicas.
