Análise da aptidão física em praticantes de treinamento de força e fitness funcional

O objetivo deste estudo foi comparar o desempenho, equilíbrio dinâmico e o padrão de movimento de praticantes de treinamento de força (TF) e fitness funcional (FF). Participaram do estudo 22 homens (TF: 31,00 ± 3,77 anos; 84,30 ± 12,79 kg; 1,76 ± 0,09 m; IMC: 26,99 ± 2,55; FF: 30,00 ± 5,93 anos; 84,24 ± 10,44 kg; 1,75 ± 0,05 m; IMC: 26,66 ± 2,27), com pelo menos um ano de experiência. Cada participante visitou o laboratório em três ocasiões com intervalo variando entre 24h e 48h entre as visitas. Na primeira visita foi realizada coleta dos valores antropométricos e teste de uma repetição máxima (1RM) e, na segunda, o reteste de 1RM. Na terceira visita foram realizados os testes Illinois Agility Test (IAT), Agility T Test), Y Balance Test (YBT) e Functional Movement Screen (FMSTM). Foi observada uma menor mediana no Agility T Test (p=0,002), assim como uma maior pontuação total no FMSTM (p=0,038) no grupo FF. Nenhuma diferença significativa foi observada para o IAT (p=0,154) e para a força muscular relativa (supino reto: p=0,226; agachamento: p=0,489). Os resultados permitem concluir que, mesmo com diferenças biomecânicas e fisiológicas entre ambas as modalidades de exercícios, os resultados obtidos são semelhantes. A significância no Agility T Test e no FMSTM revelam uma leve tendência superior na capacidade de mudança de direção e padrão de movimento para o grupo FF, fato este que não é corroborado pelo IAT.
