Respuesta autonómica e inflamatoria en obesos con resistencia a la insulina después de un entrenamiento de alta intensidad

Resumen

La obesidad es vinculada a una inflamación crónica que altera no sólo los marcadores inflamatorios sino también al sistema nervioso autonómico, estableciendo una predominancia simpática conduciendo a un riesgo cardiovascular. De esa manera el entrenamiento cardiovagal es reconocido un tratamiento que no sólo modifica la condición física sino también responde a regular el sistema autonómico y a los marcadores inflamatorios. El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar los resultados de un entrenamiento cardiovagal de 8 semanas valorando la respuesta autonómica, inflamatorios y metabólicas en obesos. Un total de 28 participantes con obesidad fueron estratificados según su HOMA-IR, el grupo sin resistencia a la insulina (NIR) y grupo con resistencia a la insulina (IR). Los participantes se sometieron a un entrenamiento cardiovagal durante 8 semanas. Se consideraron variables metabólicas como la insulina, leptina, TNFa, IL6 y el índice HOMA-IR como también variables de la variabilidad de la frecuencia cardíaca (VFC). Los resultados muestran que en las diferencias de cambio entre el pre y post intervención de los marcadores inflamatorios representaron cambios favorables en IL10 (NIR -0,21 y IR -0,45 pg/ml) y en TNFa (NIR -0,23 y IR -0,51 pg/mL). Mientras que en la VFC sus diferencias de cambio fueron favorables (p=>0,005) SDNN (NIR 3,17 y IR 17,32 ms), RMSSD (NIR 11,45 y IR 23,27 ms) y en LF/HF ratio (NIR 0,74 y IR 2,25 Hz). Se concluye que después de 8 semanas de intervención, el entrenamiento cardiovagal en personas obesas con RI aumentó la modulación parasimpática y atenuó los marcadores inflamatorios.
