Training and competences in sociologist profession

The perception of training in certain competences obtained a university degree and its perceived usefulness in the employability provides evidence for the discussion on the relationship between the profession and training. From the data provided by the survey on “Professional situation of graduates and PhDs in Sociology and Political Science” held in 2014, the results show that employability in sociology are characterized by a variety of paths . In a professional market where disciplinary boundaries are blurred, become relevant to the career, those skills related with the instrumental and personal skills, and with specific competences of disciplinary knowledge with high applicability of the knowledge and skills of the practice of sociological work.Downloads
